Fundraiser - "The Nature of Love" by Carrie Moyers

CMTR's own Northern Branch Director, Carrie Moyers, has written and published a book of poetry, inspired by the battle with breast cancer that our organization's Executive Director, Christy Milbourne, went through in 2023/2024. She has decided to donate 25% of all sales to funding our new turtle hospital in north Mississippi!

Rainbow - A Children's Book

Rainbow is a story based on true events shared by author, Bobby Dale, and his young daughter through her growing-up years. The story and its message are then passed on to his grandson, Windham, as his Grandpa introduces him to woodland creatures and the great outdoors. It is a wonderful story for children, delightfully illustrated by Margaret Gratz, and reveals a clear message for adults that it is "okay to save a corner of your heart for special childhood memories."

A supply of these delightful children's books were donated to us by the author, Dr. Bobby Dale, of Tupelo, Mississippi, in hopes that the sales would benefit turtles just like Rainbow from the story.

Artistic Turtle Illustrations by Joshua Petersen

Joshua Petersen is a talented artist, author and illustrator from Ogden, Utah. He has done illustrations of a variety of topics, but started drawing turtles only a few years ago. He is now working on his second set of "turtle prints" which will be available at the Daytona National Reptile Breeder's Expo this August. He was kind enough to donate several prints from his first series to us to help us raise funds for our rescue. The proceeds from each print sold goes directly to the care, housing, food, and vet expenses of the turtles we rescue here at the Central MS Turtle Rescue.

Each print measures 16 inches wide by 12 inches high, and are not matted or framed.
